Meet Allison. An elementary school teacher and a mom.

With a busy schedule in and out of the classroom, Allison's teaching resources emphasize substance, while still being aesthetically pleasing. 

That's why Allison creates materials for teachers and educators that are like her. You can find her materials on Teachers Pay Teachers, Etsy, and as a new adventure, Made By Teachers.

Like you, Allison loves "print and go," Google Slides, and other materials that have minimal preparation. When Allison creates resources, she strives to have these materials spark rich learning, create fun experiences, and be used over and over again. Year after year!

The majority of Allison's career has been as an elementary school teacher within the full-day kindergarten program, Grade 2, and now the Grade 3 classroom.

She currently teaches the Language, Social Studies, and Visual Arts for Grade 3. This includes reading, writing, oral language, media, Candian-based social students, and visual arts (i.e., application and theory). Allison is also an educator that promotes kindness, respect, mindfulness, and positive mental health strategies.

Allison and her husband have been married since 2012.

During this time they have embarked on many adventures together.

This includes career changes, travel, becoming pet parents, becoming homeowners, working together as entrepreneurs, and growing their family with a daughter and a son!

Allison and Brian's daughter is in Grade 5 and their son is in Grade 3. Allison's children are her favourite guinea pigs for the teaching materials she creates. She just wishes her classroom management skills as an elementary school teacher worked on them 😉

Allison decided to start this website and blog because she wants to share her teaching resources. Allison has been adding these materials to Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) for teachers and educators in primary and elementary school environments. She also uploads some of the materials to Etsy, and recently, Made By Teachers. By having this website, Allison is able to explain the resources in more detail. More importantly, she is able to connect with you on a more personal level.
